ARCHAEOLOGICAL Copan ruins TRIP NAME: Copan shuttle 2-Day with 3-Day option: Don't miss the opportunity to see Copan, Honduras, with it's beautiful art, it is often referred to as the Paris of the Maya. The Shuttles from Guatemala City or Antigua, You can take a shuttle daily to Copan and back on a 2 or 3-day trip. These are collective shuttles, which leave on time at 4am or 5am from Antigua or Guatemala City respectively. Day 1 ANTIGUA-GUATEMALA CITY / COPAN, HONDURAS Departing daily from Antigua at 4:00am, from Guatemala City at: 5:00am. Arrive at Copan Ruinas: 10:00am. Check in at your hotel in the town of Copan Ruinas. We have set up this tour with the Hotel Brisas de Copan; however, we can easily upgrade you to Hotel Marina Copan or any other hotel you prefer. After you have settled in, take a tuk-tuk, a motor-taxi, to the site to meet your guide. (Contact us for a non-guided tour price). Enjoy all day at the site. Lunch or snacks are available at the entrance of Copan or when you return to your hotel in the afternoon. Entrance fee to the site are not included and have increased to $15 per person. If you wish to take the tunnel tour to view the Rosalia temple underneath the Acropolis of Copan this is an extra $15 per person. Return to your hotel when the park closes. Enjoy a dinner at your hotel or in one of the many restaurants in the town. Internet cafes are available. Day 2 COPAN, HONDURAS / ANTIGUA-GUATEMALA CITY Morning free to you visit the Rosalia Replica Musuem, entrance fee $7 per person. If you can take the time to visit the smaller yet very insightful museum of the town of Copan Ruinas. It is located on the town square and the entrance fee is $5.00. You need to be at the shuttle departing point, same as where you arrived, to leave at 1:20pm. If you wish to return to the site of Copan you can leave your luggage at the office of the shuttle. Departing daily from Copan, Honduras at 1:20pm Arrive to Guatemala City at: 5:30-6:00pm arrive to Antigua at 7:00pm. OPTION: 3-Day COPAN Day 2 COPAN, HONDURAS Full day to visit the site of Copan and both museums. Overnight at Hotel Brisas de Copan. Day 3 COPAN, HONDURAS / ANTIGUA-GUATEMALA CITY Morning free.
