Tikal 1 Day with Flight

DAY 1 GUATEMALA CITY / SANTA ELENA / CARMELITA
Breakfast (on your own) and transfer to airport to board short air flight to Santa Elena, Petén. Meet expedition leader at airport. We transfer overland to visit the grand site of the ancient Maya at Tikal, famous for it's monumental pyramids and grandiose central plaza. We then return to the hotel at the entrance to the park for lunch. A 2 pm transfer to the airport for the return flight to Guatemala City. Airport transfer to your hotel.
