Tikal 1 Day no Flight

DAY 1 SANTA ELENA or Flores / TIKAL
Meet expedition leader at airport in Santa Elena, Flores (arrangement can be made to be picked up at hotel in Flores or Santa Elena). Transfer to the National Park of Tikal. Visit the grand site of the ancient Maya at Tikal, famous for it's monumental pyramids and grandiose central plaza. We then return to the hotel at the entrance to the park for lunch.

Depending on your schedule you will either have a 2 pm or 5pm transfer to Flores, Peten. The 2 pm transfer is to catch a flight to Guatemala City.
