GUATEMALA CITY TOUR (COMPLETE DAY )

Daily tours except Sundays and holidays. Approximate time: Eight hours.

Tour begins at the Relief Map, a scale replica of Guatemala built in 1904. Following we will visit the Historical Center of Guatemala City, visiting the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace and the Central Plaza. We will continue our journey viewing the Civic Center and then down through both old and new residential districts arriving at the Ixchel Museum (outstanding collection of native weavings and dress) and then onto the Popol Vuh Museum (housing a private collection of pre-Hispanic, Colonial and Folkloric artifacts.) Then onto the Museum of Anthropology and Archaeology and finalizing at the native handicraft market.

Return to your hotel. (Lunch and entrance fees not included).
