To help boy and girls who live in extreme poverty and to develop self-esteem and a better level of education and physical health AFENJ gives lectures and classes every Sunday in Unidos por la paz. This is also to help the children have another alternative to joining gangs or doing drugs.

Sunday lectures were suspended in 2006, as Hermelindo Ichich could no longer attend every sunday. We would like to find someone who can fill in for one sunday a month. Hermelindo will start to do Lectures 2 Sundays of each month for 2007.
