In conjunction with Copper Canyon Adventures we are happy to provide trips into the beautiful Copper Canyon area of Sinaloa, Mexico. It is a 10 hour drive from Tucson, AZ or an easy 4 hours flight into Los Mochis, which is one hour from our starting point at El Fuerte, Sinola, Mx. (see more information)

The Copper Canyon is home to the Raramuri Tribe (also known as the Tarahumara). The woman weave baskets from Pine needles and a Yucca type plant. The income they receive from the sales of the baskets helps keep their family with food and extra for their children's schooling.

The cayons are really three canyons with varing depth. We utilize the train that was built over a 70 year span starting in 1890. The train has been recently revamped and is a delight to travel on.
