WHITERWATER KAYAKING

There are rivers to whitewater raft in different areas of Guatemala, and to combine with other adventures or other tourist attractions. Most rivers in the country are free flowing and depend on the rains. The ones in the south coast and central region, can be run only during the rainy season, which is from June to October. Other rivers (like the Cahabon) are runable throughout the year.

Each one has a different scenery, climate, and degree of difficulty, starting at level II and ending at level V. For the more adventurous there are more kayaking rivers during the wet season. On higher-level rivers we do not accept children (under 16), and for all these excursions, the youngest children accepted should be at least 8 years old. Click More Information for help in figuring out the best trip for you, in terms of time, content, and requirements.

Our food is plentiful and excellent tasting; many clients have described it as Wilderness gourmet.
