Tomás graduated Cum Laude from the Universidad del
Valle with a B.A. and Masters in Archaeology and is presently
studying for his doctorate of Anthropology at the University
of Vanderbilt, Nashville, TN.
Field Work:
Present: Co-Director of Archaeological Project Cancuén
South Coast (area of Gomera-Sipacate and San Marcos), Highlands
(Kaminaljuyú), Lowlands (Piedras Negras), Subacuatic
archaeology (Lake Atitlán) Professor in the University
del Valle (Archaeology, Anthropology and Eco-tourism) Theory
and practical instructor in Archaeology and Anthropology for
Tourism Guides. Has been investigator and collaborator with
the Encyclopedia of General History of Guatemala and the Popol
Vuh Museum.
