Using the photos of her various tours she has concocted many
travel tales to the delight of her nephews and nieces. With
10 years of experience as an English-Spanish guide for the
entire Republic of Guatemala, she can certainly come up with
plenty of stories to keep anyone entertained.
Ever since the eco-tourism department at the Universidad
del Valle opened in 1995, she has been taking specialized
courses in this area. She has given slide shows to interested
tour groups on Guatemalan culture; Maya archaeology, and flora
and ethnology. She would only be too pleased to do one for
your group. Her favorite themes are archaeology, flora and
fauna accompanied by a special interest in birds, however,
she humbly does not consider herself an expert. Her multitude
of travels have been with individuals and with groups of up
to 52 coming from cruise ships..
